There are exist many different methods of bone’s cancer treatment. The best treatment depends on the results of medical testing. We distinguish three basic types of treatment:
- Chemotherapy
- Surgery
- Radiation therapy
They can be used separately or together.
Chemotherapy is used not to let cancer cells to grow up. It is often used after surgery.
Surgery is used to remove tumor. Earlier it was amputation of damaged bone, but now it can be replaced by healthy bone taken from special bank. If small air is stroked, the bone cement can be used.
Radiation therapy treats with strong X-ray. It can be used before or after surgery.
